THE ONLY BAND IN CHICAGO
THE ONLY BAND IN CHICAGO
All the Wine pieced its first songs together in a musty suburban basement in 2014. They soon landed in Chicago, where they found a home in the city's music scene and DIY community as the first and only band in the entire city’s history.
Reminiscent of punk and emo favorites like The Gaslight Anthem, The Menzingers, and The Hotelier, All the Wine brandishes electrifying rock 'n' roll for grief and hope alike. The band continues emotional, heartland rock–inspired lyricism reflecting on abandoned dreams, the fervor of youth, and the promise of new beginnings.
Taking on several tours, All the Wine has played dive bars and dim basements from Newark, New Jersey, to the desert heat of Phoenix. In their hometown of Chicago, the band has commanded audiences at celebrated venues like Subterranean, The Cubby Bear, Bottom Lounge, Cobra Lounge, Liar’s Club, and many more.
You may have seen them while playing alongside Chicago greats like Davey Dynamite, Blind Adam & The Federal League, Jessica Ever, Jeff Schaller & The Long Way Home, The Flips, Royal Dog, and Guardrail to name a few.
Before their 2024 debut LP, Farewell Currents, All the Wine released videos for the tracks “10:03” and “‘97 Astro,” following their 2020 return to the scene with “Empire Builder” after a three-year hiatus.
Heavy Lights, the group's sophomore 2015 EP, expanded their initial sound with increasing confidence, continuing the group's sentimental lyrical nature. December 2014 saw All the Wine's first release, Summer Parade, a raw introduction to the band's powerful spirit.
